Sailing can look a bit complicated with all the ropes, sails, jargon such as fore (front) and Aft (back) plus the fact that to go straight you have to sail at an angle, but with a few lessons, it all makes sense and is a lot of fun.  

The Sport  Academy is offering a 4 lesson introduction into sailing which you can do on line and ask our sailingsecretary@wyac.co.za about getting on the water or come down to the club and chat to the sailors who are always willing to part with their knowledge and even offer a ride on a yacht.
